Walking on tour:
Costa Rica: Sarapiquí, Arenal & Guanacaste is focused on outdoor sightseeing in natural, rain/cloud forest locations, so expect moderate-to-high walking in some areas. Sturdy, comfortable walking shoes or hiking boots are recommended. While walks and hikes are not strenuous for the healthy traveler, expect some uneven, possibly slippery terrain.
