Although most sightseeing on Egypt & the Nile is done by private motorcoach or river cruise ship, due to the pace and terrain, travelers should be in good health, used to walking regularly and prepared for walking on uneven, sometimes hilly, sandy, unpathed terrain. In particular, travelers should take preventive measures against sun exposure and heat exhaustion. Drink plenty of water and pace yourself.
