Commissioned in the 15th century to defend the sea lanes between the Baltic and North Seas, Elsinore's Kronborg Castle is an imposing stone fortress overlooking the Øresund. Your group will stop for photos in the castle's courtyard before driving back along the coast for free time at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art. The museum’s impressive sculpture park also overlooks the sea.

A guided tour provides an in-depth look at all of these landmarks as well as the University Museum, whose exhibits pay tribute to famous Swedish scholars including Celsius and Linneus. Then, continue to the ancient city of Sigtuna, established by Sweden’s first Christian king.
