Traveler Tips
There’s nothing more relaxing than sitting at a café at an Italian piazza. Accentuate the experience with a cocktail called the “Bellini,” first concocted at the famous Harry’s Bar in St. Mark’s Square in Venice in the 1940s. The drink is a delicious mix of white peaches and Italian sparkling wine.
Leather, glassware, ceramics, Venetian glass and clothing are some of Italy's quality buys.
Take note of the fact that while there is a restroom facility on the motor coach bus, there are no public restrooms in Italy or Europe for that matter and on the rare occasion that there are, they charge a small amount to be used. To use the restrooms in a restaurant or store you must be a paying customer.
Touring Rome can make you hungry, so you may want to head towards the wide selection of Italy restaurants at the historic Campo de Fiori, the city’s most famous outdoor food and market plaza.
