    EF Go Ahead Tours currently requires that all tour participants be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and must have proof of negative results for a COVID-19 test
    taken within 72-hours before departure. These requirements are in addition to any destination requirements listed below due to US Department of State and CDC guidance, the wellbeing of the group, and/or operational feasibility.

    Canada to Czechia

    Travelers from selected countries arriving without a pre-departure COVID-19 test are required to take a COVID-19 test within the first 5 days after their arrival in the Czech Republic.

    Travelers must wear masks (FFP2) in public places, on public transport, and most indoor places.

    Travelers arriving in the Czech Republic are required to fill out a passenger locator form.

    Proof of negative COVID-19 test results or test on arrival for vaccinated travelersNEEDED BEFORE ARRIVAL

    Travelers arriving in the Czech Republic with a vaccination certificate issued in selected countries are required to have a negative COVID-19 test result. An antigen test must be taken a maximum of 48 hours before departure to the Czech Republic, or an RT-PCR test must be taken a maximum of 72 hours before departure. Travelers with access to the EU Digital Certificate may use it to present proof. Travelers without a test will be required to undergo a test on arrival within the first 5 days from their entry. This includes passengers in transit.

    Vaccinated travelers from selected countries do not need a negative COVID-19 test result.

    Masks are mandatory in public

    Travelers aged 4 years and older must wear masks while in indoor and outdoor public places such as on public transport, in stores, and in other public buildings across Poland. Face coverings must be cloth or medical-type masks. Face shields, visors, scarves, or other types of face coverings are not permitted as substitutes for masks.

    Travelers transiting for less than 24 hours are not required to present proof of negative COVID-19 test.

    Travelers who are fully vaccinated must present a COVID-19 vaccination certificate. Travelers are considered fully vaccinated once 14 days have passed since they completed the vaccination process for an EU-approved vaccine. Travelers unable to present a valid certificate may be required to comply with rules for unvaccinated travelers. Travelers have the option to present proof via EU Digital Certificate.

    Travelers must fill up a passenger locator form before travel. A digital form filled online is preferred but travelers can still fill a paper form provided by the airline.

    Poland to Slovakia

    Travelers arriving from selected countries are not required to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test result before traveling to Slovakia.

    Travelers aged 6 years and older must wear masks in indoor public places, on public transport, and outdoors where physical distancing is not possible.

    Vaccinated travelers must present a vaccination certificate with one of the following options: -It has passed at least 14 days but not more than 12 months after the administration of the second dose of a 2-dose COVID-19 vaccine; -It has passed at least 21 days but not more than 12 months after the administration of the first dose of a single-dose COVID-19 vaccine; -It has passed at least 14 days but not more than 12 months after the administration of the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine if the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination was given a maximum of 180 days of overcoming COVID-19. Fully vaccinated travelers must be able to show a certificate proving their vaccination status in Slovak, Czech or English. Travelers with access to the EU Digital Certificate may use it to present proof.

    Vaccinated travelers from selected countries are not required to provide proof of negative COVID-19 test result before traveling to Hungary.

    Vaccinated travelers must have proof that they have been vaccinated against COVID-19 on at least 1 occasion and that 1 year has not passed since the first vaccination with a vaccine approved by the European Medicines Agency, World Health Organization for emergency use, or with a vaccine allowed in Hungary. Travelers with access to the EU Digital Certificate may use it to present proof. Travelers from a country outside of the EU and that have made an agreement with the Hungarian government to accept foreign vaccination certificates may provide a vaccination certificate issued in those countries. Currently, vaccination certificates are also accepted from these countries: Albania, Bahrain, Cyprus, Croatia, Czech Republic, North Macedonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Morocco, Moldova, Mongolia, Montenegro, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Cape Verde, Austria, and Romania.     Hungary to Canada

    No proof of a negative COVID-19 test results for transitNEEDED BEFORE ARRIVAL

    Travelers with flight connections in Canada to third countries are exempt from any COVID-19 test requirement as long as they remain in the international departure area.

    Masks are mandatory during travel and in some provinces

    Travelers must wear masks in all airports and in-flight. Travelers must also wear a mask in public in some provinces and cities. For more information about regional mask requirements, please check the source.

    Mandatory proof of vaccinationNEEDED BEFORE ARRIVAL

    Travelers who are fully vaccinated must have a vaccination certificate in English, French, or with a certified translation. The certificate must be uploaded digitally into the ArriveCAN app and must contain all details required. Fully vaccinated travelers must have received the full course of vaccination, or a combination of vaccines Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca (Covishield), or Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) at least 14 days before arrival in Canada. Travelers who have recovered from COVID-19 are still required to have a full course of one of the accepted vaccines to be considered fully vaccinated. Travelers unable to present a valid certificate may be required to comply with rules for unvaccinated travelers.

    Proof of negative COVID-19 test resultsNEEDED BEFORE ARRIVAL

    Travelers must have a negative COVID-19 molecular test (PCR, RT-PCR, NAAT, LAMP) result. The test must be taken a maximum of 72 hours before the departure of their last direct flight to Canada. Antigen tests are not accepted. Travelers arriving via land border must provide a test taken a maximum of 72 hours before arrival in Canada.

    All travelers are required to submit a quarantine plan and a COVID-19 "self-assessment" a maximum of 72 hours before arrival. The information must be submitted digitally through the ArriveCAN app.
