My first tour with EF GO AHEAD. An amazing trip! Full of Canadian history & Culture. Tour Guide Patrick & the local guides were great. Niagara Falls was the highlight. I recommend this tour!

07/11/18 by 1st-time traveler Beverly
We traveled with GoAhead on the Canadian Rockies/National Parks trip this past July and it truly surpassed our expectations. The itinerary was so well planned, allowing us to experience these magnificent landscapes without the stress of self-navigating unknown territory.
National Parks: Canadian Rockies, Glacier & Yellowstone
Outstanding tour of western canada
09/16/19 by 1st-time traveler Edward
Thought that the tour guide and program were excellent. The highlights on the tour were many but the rocky mountaineer and the Columbia ice field will never be forgotten. Debbie skwart our EF tour manager was definitely the best. Thank you Debbie and EF go ahead tours for a wonderful vacation.

Rockies Trip Was Tops!
09/15/19 by 1st-time traveler Jim
Our Go Ahead Tour was very well organized throughout including taking care of check-in at hotels before we arrived in most cases. The sites were breathtaking including Calgary, Banff, the Rockies, the Columbia Ice Field, Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, the Train Ride, and the list goes on.

Beautiful Canada
07/04/19 by 5th-time traveler Rhonda
Canada was beautiful. The people were very friendly and welcoming. All of our hotels were very nice and within walking distance to shops, restaurants and points of local interest. The weather was beautiful and we met so many wonderful new friends. So far Go Ahead has not disappointed us.
Ontario & Quebec: Toronto to Montreal
Great time in the Maritimes
07/04/19 by 3rd-time traveler Jennifer
This is my third trip through GoAhead and they keep getting better. This trip was a “bucket list” trip for me, someplace I had always wanted to see but just hadn’t gone to yet. I had a fabulous time. So much fun, highly recommend.

When is the best time to visit Canada?

There’s no bad time for a trip to Canada, but our favorite time is from September through November. Throughout these months, the weather is cool, but still comfortable, and the foliage is absolutely stunning. In fact, if you’re seeking some leaf peeping, you’ll love our Fall Foliage Tour of the Canadian Maritimes.

What should I pack for a Canada tour?

If you’re traveling to Canada in the summer, you’ll want to pack sunscreen and a lot of layers, because the weather can vary between around 50 and 95°F. If you’re traveling further north it will be cooler. Up north, you’ll also experience exceptionally long days, so bring a sleep mask, too. If you’re looking to travel to Canada in the spring, fall, or winter, you’ll want to pack a lot of warm layers. It can get chilly walking along the glacial lakes and mountain trails!

What are some tips for visiting Canada?

As you plan any Canada tour, remember that while Canada has many similarities to the United States, it’s still a different country. That means you’ll need to bring your passport and exchange currencies when booking Canada tour packages from the USA.

What should I know before I travel to Canada?

Always carry cash. It can be difficult to find credit card machines or ATMs in more rural areas, so you’ll want to make sure you’re covered. Tipping between 15 and 20 percent is expected in the hospitality tourism, and service industries—so you’ll want to be sure you can leave some cash for people who help you, too.

Why should I choose a group tour of Canada?

When exploring Canada on a group tour, you’ll meet some incredible new friends as you experience a new country together. Second, our guided tours make it easy to see a country from a local’s perspective. Finally, when you take one of our all-inclusive trips to Canada, we take care of every detail for you.
