Racha Kerdsilp

Racha is an Operations Manager for EF Educational Tours in Southeast Asia.

Growing up in the suburban area of Bangkok, Racha was inspired to learn about the world and improve her English language skills at a very young age. Luckily, this is where she first met EF! With a strong support from her family, she went on a high school student exchange program to the UK with EF in 2007-08. Through this hands on learning experience, she became fluent in English and started to develop an understanding of what does it mean to be a true global citizen.

Racha began her career in tourism and international education sector since 2011. She worked with a number of organizations in Southeast Asia providing experiential education to the youth locally and internationally. While the highly diverse nature of her work in Southeast Asia has helped her gain broad exposure to the industry, it has not been possible to study specific tourism-related issues in depth until she completed her Master Degree in International Sustainable Tourism Management from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. For Racha, this is one of her proudest accomplishments in life as she also received the internationally competitive and merit-based Endeavour scholarship from the Australian government for her studies.

Wanting to share these passions with others, in 2014, she started a youtube channel called ‘Racha Travels’ (with currently at 11k subscribers) to document all her travels and share her life journey with others hoping it would inspire people to see the world, learning about each other and becoming a more globally conscious citizens.
