What our travelers say about their
Paris tours

Paris ..An Incredible City
09/07/19 by 2nd-time traveler Robert
It's easy to see why so many people fall in with Paris...we certainly did. We just had a fabulous time absorbing all Paris has to offer from the night life, dining at sidewalk cafes, romance, the incredible beauty and sites of the city, it's architecture, art ventures, history and the Moulin Rouge.
Paris: The City Experience
Un Voyage Magnifique
07/17/19 by 1st-time traveler Sybrina
Visiting Paris for the very first time, and Patrick made it possible for us to move about the city easily and experience as much of Paris as our time allowed. Thank you, Go Ahead, for making this a trip of a lifetime!
Wonderful tour of Riviera, Provence and Paris!
09/07/18 by 6th-time traveler Marilyn
This tour was a delightful sampling of the best of the Riviera, Provence and Paris! My friends and I used our free time in Paris to visit the Musee d'Orsay to further our study of the Impressionist painters. If you love to learn, this is a great company to use!
A Week in France: The Riviera, Provence & Paris
Fantastic!
06/01/19 by 1st-time traveler Regina Karen
This trip was a great combination of structure and free time. I was more able to enjoy my trip because I wasn’t worried about travel logistics. All our local guides were great and our tour director Antonio was phenomenal! 10/10 would recommend and can’t wait to book another trip!

Travel tips for Paris trips

When is the best time to visit Paris?

There’s never a bad time to go on a Paris tour, but you’ll enjoy visiting the City of Light during the off-season. In the spring or fall, the weather is milder and the crowds aren’t as large, which will make your trip even more memorable.

What are the top attractions to see in Paris?

There’s so much to see and experience on our trips to Paris.

If it’s your first time in Paris, you may want to begin with the classics, like the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe. All our tours to Paris make stops at both of these iconic landmarks.

If you like museums, don’t miss the Musée d’Orsay and the Louvre for icons (like the Mona Lisa) and Centre Pompidou for modern masterpieces.

If you’re looking to shop, stroll along the Champs Élysées to the Arc de Triomphe and duck into the Galeries Lafayette to pick up some stylish souvenirs.

What are some common dishes to order in Paris?

No Paris trip is complete without tasting the French classics: crêpes, croissants, and baguettes. Apart from those, you’ll want to stop at a brasserie for a croque monsieur, the French version of a ham and cheese sandwich.

What do I need to know before visiting Paris?

Paris is divided into 20 districts, or arrondissements—designations that date back to the French Revolution.
