Online Escapes

Online Escapes are cultural experiences hosted live by experts from the EF community. It’s our way of bringing the best parts of world travel—connecting with others while learning about a new culture—straight to your home. All Online Escapes are livestreamed, so you’ll use your computer, phone, or tablet to connect with your host and others around the world.

All Online Escapes include a virtual session hosted by an expert from the EF community. You can find details about each Online Escape—who’s hosting it, what you’ll learn, how many others can join, and how long the online experience will be—by clicking on the one you’re interested in. All that’s required to participate in an Online Escape is yourself, your computer or mobile device, and a strong internet connection—some hosts will share a list of recommended items to bring as well, depending on the topic of your online experience.

Once you’ve signed up for an Online Escape, we’ll send you detailed information about what to expect, how to prepare, and how to join using a Zoom access link.

All Online Escapes are virtual experiences, so you’ll need an internet connection and a device with the ability to stream audio and video. You can use your computer, tablet, or phone—whichever you prefer.

You can sign up for an Online Escape by selecting the date and time that works for you and completing a quick checkout process. Credit and debit cards are the forms of payment accepted for Online Escapes.

A link to manage your reservation, along with details about how to join, will be included in your confirmation email. You’ll also receive a reminder email leading up to the start time of your Online Escape.
