Where to spend a week in Europe

Dec 19, 2019 by Laura Barber

So, you’ve budgeted out your vacation time and found that you’ve got a week to fill (score!). What next? A trip to Europe, perhaps? If you’re wondering what’s the best way to spend a week in Europe, the good news is there’s no right or wrong answer. The even better news is that we’ve got some ideas to help you start planning.

Take off to that city you’ve always wanted to visit.

Paris. London. Florence. Barcelona. Rome. What do all of these places have in common? Answer: You can get to know (like, really get to know) them on our City Stay tours! Pick a city and spend your week away doing a deep dive into its culture, food, hot spots, and hidden gems.

See the sights…on foot.

Are you someone who likes getting some steps in no matter where you are? Then a Walking Tour could be right up your alley. Think strolls through lemon groves on the Amalfi Coast, treks across the windswept Irish countryside, or meandering along the streets of Provencal villages—to name a few.

Celebrate in style.

If your vacation falls during the right time of year, get ready to get festive! Ever wanted to ring in the new year somewhere like London, Paris, or Rome? Could be that spending St. Patrick’s Day in Dublin sounds more like your cup of tea (or pint of beer). Or if you’re feeling jolly, why not make your way to some of Europe’s Christmas markets?

Weigh your options.

Whether you already know where you want to go or are about to cover your eyes and point at a map, we’ve got plenty of options for your week-long European vacation. Get started on your search here—and if you have any questions, feel free to get in touch. Our team of expert Tour Consultants is always happy to help!
